Gardman is already a favourite of garden bird enthusiasts who know they can depend on its range of specialist and all-round feed, feeders, nest boxes, bird tables and accessories. This year, as every year, the company is launching new lines to cater for the growing number of people who want to attract a wider range of bird species to their gardens, boosted by TV programmes such as BBC Springwatch.
The new products which will be available in garden centres and DIY stores from August, include eye catching contemporary designs of a fat snax feeder and an egg shaped feeder in fashionable tones of black, duck egg grey and pistachio which are expected to be a particular hit (retailing at £3.99 and £12.99 respectively). Fat snax are now available in heart and star shapes (£1.99 each) and also in rolls (£2.99). There are several new feeders including a heart shaped feeder (£3.49), a stand out giant premium flip top feeder (£19.99) which will impress the neighbours, and large, heavy duty flip top feeders which are coated in ‘Feedsafe’, an anti-bacterial coating which protects against microbes and germs, helping to prevent transmission of bird diseases.
With the driest spring on record in many areas of the UK, we are constantly reminded to provide water for birds for both drinking and washing. The new Gardman ornate bird bath with a decorative pedestal and bird featured on the bath is both an attractive addition to the garden and practical too. It retails at £29.99.
Two new bird homes – the Acorn Bird House and Hive Bird House – are both hand turned from Forest Stewardship Council timber and retail at £29.99 each. Gardman is also adding three impressive bird tables to its range this season which will attract birds with five star aspirations! – the Corn Exchange Bird Table (£99.99), the Norman Church Bird Table (£109.99) and the Spinney Bird Table.
